BCCP Students-
It’s easy to visit colleges on your own. Go explore some of the colleges and universities in the area. There are dozens of colleges inside New York City and many more are a short train or bus ride away on Long Island, and in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Boston.
Let the school know you are interested in visiting before you go. Just google the name of the school plus admissions, for example, google: Brooklyn College Admissions. Find their contact number and give them a call.
“Hi my name is Nate Klooster. I’m going a Senior at Erasmus this year and I’m interested in visiting your school.”
They will tell you when they are available to show you around. Some schools outside the city may have a bus available to pick you up, for example if you take the Long Island Railroad out to Old Westbury, ask them if they can pick up up from the LIRR station

There are dozens of schools you can visit in NYC for the cost of a metrocard ride. Google them to find out where in the city they are.
